Director David's last production at Hoxton Hall was 'The Biograph Girl' in 2006. Other productions on the London fringe include 'Follies' at the Network Theatre, and 'Moll Flanders' and 'Moby Dick', both at the Cockpit Theatre. His productions for Imperial College Musical Theatre Society include 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas', 'Grease' and 'Personals'. At the London Oratory School he has directed 'Sweeney Todd', 'Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens' and 'Nine'. In Medway, Kent, he has directed 'Present Laughter', 'The Importance of Being Earnest', and 'Side by Side by Sondheim', and in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, 'A Swell Party' and 'Babes in Arms'. Next March he is to direct 'Alfie' at the Barons Court Theatre.
David trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and, as well as directing, is very active as an actor, singer, compere, female impersonator and pantomime dame.
