Chorus Master
Since leaving Guildhall, Ed has been conspicuously busy on the opera stage, working as a principal, cover and/or chorus with companies ranging from Birmingham Chamber Orchestra to Glyndebourne Festival Opera. He also teaches undergraduate singers at The GSMD about the theory and history of music, with varying degrees of success. Edmund is a professional singer, organist, pianist and choral director. He was Organ Scholar at Robinson College, Cambridge, where he read music, and studied for two years on the Postgraduate Vocal course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he first met David Phipps-Davis. Since then they have collaborated as production team on Imperial Productions shows (Nine and Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens), performed numerous concerts together and even spent a couple of weeks aboard a cruise ship in North Africa.
