Christmas Budleigh 2007: The Mikado

The Mikado

at The Public Hall, Budleigh Salterton

Every December Imperial Productions indulges in a weekend trip to the Devonshire seaside town of Budleigh Salterton. Amongst the mulled wine, mince pies and late-night Christmas shopping, we'll put on two semi-staged concert performances of The Mikado, directed by Ashley Mercer with musical direction from Brian D Steel.

Rehearsals

Anyone can come and sing in the chorus for this show - in fact, we want a nice big chorus to really bulk out the sound and make this concert work, so we really need you. If you want to sing in the chorus, we ask that you come to the first rehearsal:

Wednesday 21st November 2007 from 7.30pm in St Gabriel's Halls, Pimlico.

As this will be a concert performance, the rehearsal schedule is fairly tight, providing enough time to get to grips with the music and perhaps some staging. Some prior knowledge of the music would obviously be an advantage. If you're joining us for the first time, check out our Beginners Guide to Christmas Budleigh.

The rehearsals will all be held on weeknights in Pimlico, as follows:

Please note that there will be a £10 show fee for participation in this production.

Ticket Sales

Tickets for both the matinee and the evening performance are priced at £8. Advance ticket sales for this production are available to Imperial Patrons. The remaining tickets are sold through our box office, Budleigh Salterton Tourist Information Centre. Please telephone 01395 445 275 to make your booking.
