Get Involved
Are you looking to be part of a vibrant theatre company in London? It's easy to join Imperial Productions as a performer ... just turn up and audition for one of our shows! Anyone can audition and there is no fee to pay to do so.
The easiest way to find out about forthcoming auditions is to subscribe to our mailing list. We'll announce any auditions in our monthly newsletter. For answers to commonly asked questions, see our FAQs.
We're always on the look-out for new Directors. If you have an idea for a production, then get in touch! We also welcome Musical Directors, and people willing to take on any production team role. Please see our Direct or Produce page.
You're more of a musician? Then we could really need you. If you play an instrument and would like to be in the band for one of our shows, please don't hesitate to send us an e-mail. Since different instruments tend to be in demand for different productions, we'll add you to our books and contact you if we think you'll be interested in any particular projects.
If you'd rather help behind the scenes then we'd love to hear from you, too. We're always on the look out for people to crew our shows: Stage crew, fitup crew, lighting and sound crew are all welcome. If you've got more experience, why not design one of our shows? Whether it's lighting, sound or even costumes, contact us for more information.
You can support the company even if you're not currently performing in productions with us. Membership costs £15, payable by standing order every January. This entitles you to vote at the AGM and stand for election to committee positions.
We've recently introduced a new constitution, which all full members should read. You can download the constitution here.
If you'd like to get more involved, we are looking to co-opt a new member onto the committe to lead our Sponsorship and Fundraising. Could you assist us in seeking sponsorship and other external funding for future shows? We've looked at fundraising and sponsorship possibilities in the past, but what we really need is someone to fill this dedicated role ... it would help us enormously to have someone with experience and enthusiasm for fundraising!
